(St. Paul, MN) — After leaving a successful television news career following a profound spiritual awakening, former broadcast journalist Meisha Johnson is launching a new Catholic podcast aimed at helping listeners deepen their faith and navigate today’s culture with clarity and conviction.

Surrendered Life with Meisha will debut this Tuesday, April 7, 2026. It features candid conversations on conversion, Catholic teaching, and the call to holiness in everyday life. The show will also include daily meditations, engaging guest interviews, and thoughtful explorations of the intersection between Catholic teaching and contemporary culture.

The podcast grew out of Johnson’s powerful conversion experience, an encounter that redirected her life away from broadcast news and toward full-time service in the Catholic Church.

Formerly a reporter and anchor for CBS and Fox News affiliates, Johnson has transitioned from the newsroom to being a full-time director of pastoral ministry with the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Through Surrendered Life with Meisha, Johnson offers reflections on the spiritual life, Catholic apologetics, conversion, the Saints, and the search for truth in an increasingly secular culture.

Rooted in a deep love for the Catholic faith and the Church’s sacred traditions, the podcast encourages listeners to live their faith with courage and conviction.

Episodes of Surrendered Life with Meisha will be available on YouTube, Rumble, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts. It will air weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays at 7 p.m. Central Time (CT).

Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree with Honors in Christian Ministry and Biblical Studies from Bethel University and a Master of Sacred Theology from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Catholic Spiritual Direction and Mysticism at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
